FUTUREBRAND – Motion Identity

Hugo and Cat joined forces with Future Brand to create a complete re-branding of the premium Coco beach golf resort and residences in Puerto Rico based on the overarching theme of ‘layered experiences’. I was tasked with creating a visual language for the new logo, which would be used throughout the resorts as well as the the top and tail of the TV commercial.

Motion language

The concept of the logo was two interlocking palms, based on the overarching theme of 'layered experiences'. The key to the animation success was finding a balance between organic motion whilst maintaining a premium feel, the motion identity when through many rounds to perfect the animation. Below is a small sample of the motion exploration I undertook to reach the final logo.
